I’m a budding romantasy author, wife, mama, pastured-yoga teacher, plant lover, voracious reader and your friend who’s down for a couch hang.

15 or so years ago, I had the most vivid daydream that transported me among the stars. That daydream has stuck with me. Matured with me. And now, has become my debut novel! I’m hard at work during pre-school hours, nap times and late into the evening to make it come alive.

I cut my teeth on fantasy epics like Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan, Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind and David Eddings’ Belgariad. I imagined myself into those books. Fought alongside the heroes in those books. And as I grew up more, found myself swooning over the dark, brooding heroes in those books. *sigh, a’Lan Mandragoran (IYKYK).

Losing myself in motherhood for a stint, I came back to the joy of reading in 2022, with you guessed it, ACOTAR by Sarah J. Maas. I quickly fell head first into the romantasy genre. I had no idea that genre existed, but it’s become my home away from home ever since.

I’ll put together a list of my favorite reads (it’s ever-growing), and would love to have a coffee with you and discuss our favorite books!

The act of writing has been a challenge in my current season of life, but I’m trying to put myself first in this and make it happen.
